Meet Our Oral Surgery Team in Raleigh
The surgical staff at Dr. Kozacko’s office is comprised of Registered Dental Assistants. Our assistants’ training involves completion of an accredited course of study including dental science, chairside procedures, radiology and externship courses. All our surgical staff are Certified Oral Surgery Assistants (COSA) who have completed additional training including monitoring patients under anesthesia, EKG interpretation, and emergency preparation. In addition, all our surgical assistants maintain current basic life support certification.

Our administrative staff will assist you in scheduling and coordinating your appointments. In addition our financial coordinator will be happy to assist you in understanding the fees for your procedure, as well as interpreting your specific insurance coverage. We communicate our billing policies to all patients prior to all treatment, and respond to patient questions in a timely and courteous manner. Their primary goal is to make you feel comfortable about your experience in our office.

Our sterilization staff works hard and follows strict Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) protocols.

Dan, our Practice Manager, describes his 15 years with Dr. Kozacko as “The best job I’ve ever had”. This former television and radio newsperson hails from Ohio by way of New Mexico! He’s likes to help patients understand their insurance and make it work FOR them. Dan’s also resourceful in helping you find financial ways to get your surgery completed
Anne, our Insurance Specialist, has been with Dr. Kozacko for 11 years. She worked with dentists on Long Island before leaving her winter coats behind for the warmer North Carolina weather. Anne is an expert at finding how insurance will cover your surgery, and giving you a realistic idea of your out of pocket obligation. And, be sure to show her your doggie pictures!


Cristina, our Primary Scheduler, has worked in dentistry for 10 years. We value her four years of service here, working with our patients. Cristina works hard to accommodate your scheduling needs. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and spoiling her dog, Max.
Rose, who schedules appointments and checks insurances, is a valued addition to our office. She’s always ready to meet your scheduling needs and check your insurance. When not at the office, Rose enjoys sharing time with her family, cooking and shoe shopping. Rose loves multi tasking at the front desk and meeting so many different people.


Mae has been a surgical assistant to Dr. Kozacko for the last 14 years. Mae, a DA II/EFDA, is a Youngsville native who has been in the dentistry field for 26 years. Mae has extensive surgical assistant experience and strives to make sure our patients have a positive experience. She has been married for 33 years and has three daughters and two granddaughters. Her pet Mastiff, Cam, accompanies her when she’s reading, camping and enjoying nature.
Priscilla has been a surgical assistant with Dr. Kozacko for 12 years. Being a CDA II RDA, COMSA and Military Mobile Dental Assistant, Priscilla’s top priorities are your safety and satisfaction. Not only is she a master seamstress, but if you’re out on a drive around North Carolina, look in the next lane. It may be Priscilla, enjoying her Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe!


Jolanta, a surgical assistant, worked with Dr. Kozacko in the early years of his practice, and wanted nothing more than to come back and work with him again. An experienced surgical assistant, she is also an accomplished cook and enjoys spending time with her family.
Jennifer is a surgical assistant and there are few others like her. Her spirit and determination match her quality surgical care. Jennifer has assisted Dr. Kozacko for eleven years, and her friendly manner is infectious. Jennifer enjoys spare time relaxing with her family and Sam, their Golden Retriever. Just don’t try to tell her that Star Wars is better than Star Trek!


Emily, a surgical assistant, joined us in 2015 and loves caring for patients. A William Peace University graduate, she helps those who have oral health issues through her volunteer work with Wake Smiles! Emily, who aspires to be a dentist, is a painter, a photographer and a patron of the NC Art Museum.
Pam, our sterilization specialist, is the soul of the office. She has been with Dr. Kozacko since he started his practice. Pam makes sure that every instrument used during your procedure is a state of the art dental tool. In her spare time, she enjoys lake life, her family and friends.
